Dos Amigos Restaurant Reviews
I work across the street from Dos Amigos and they are my go to for lunch! Great tasting food, friendly staff and top notch customer service. The best birria I ever had, carne asada is absolutely delightful, and don’t even get me started on how delicious the Torta’s are. I highly recommend HIGHLY recommend Dos Amigos! To be honest if I ever move away from Grand Rapids, I would travel back once in a while specifically for Dog Amigos !

Dos Amigos Restaurant offers delicious and affordable authentic Mexican cuisine, making it a popular choice for locals and visitors alike. The tripa tacos are highly recommended, with the option to customize the meat to your liking. The birria is noted as the best many have ever had, and the carne asada is absolutely delightful. The portions are generous, with just half of a tlayuda enough to fill up a group of three. The tortas are also highlighted as a must-try. One of the standout features is the variety of drinks available, including Tamarindo, Horchata, and lime cucumber on tap. The quesabirria+consume is a favorite for many, and even simple tacos like asada with cilantro and onion are praised for their great taste and well-seasoned meat. The rice is especially flavorful, and the Agua Fresca Pepino con Limón is a refreshing choice. Customers appreciate the quick service and friendly staff, making every visit enjoyable. The restaurant also offers several Oaxacan dishes, including Torta de Bistec and tlayudas, which are less common but highly appreciated. Since space and parking are limited, most tables are for four people, but the quality of the food makes it worth the visit. Overall, it is a great place to enjoy Mexican food that comes close to the real thing, with a rating of 7.7 out of 10. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available for those with dietary preferences.
