I love everything about Taqueria San Jose. Tiny little eatery with a family that is friendly. Our favorite thing to get are tacos, LOTS OF TACOS! They're authentic and delicious. We have also had a burrito that didn't disappoint and a torta which was also outstanding. When you go, order 1 taco of each kind of meat, that might be like 6-8 tacos, but who's counting? Had Taqueria San Jose for the first time and noticed they had Cactus Tacos and after reading some reviews I had to try!It was Delicious and Authentic! Also had Chorizo and Asada Tacos! Next time I stop I will be having some more ? Cactus Tacos! Glad I stopped here!Side note: If you order ahead you have to pay over the phone. ?

The meat was very oily, which I find to be a common thing in Grand Rapids. The food wasn't bad, but I tend to compare my Mexican food to southern Californias.
