My wife and I did a brewery tour with Kyle, and he was really a great guide. It was definitely one of the better brewery tours we've been on. It was a nice balance of the history of Founders and seeing the production area. We had a beer beforehand in the taproom which was huge! Good beer and good service. Lots of taproom only options. The shop was also cool, with a lot of merch. I appreciated they sold singles of a lot of the beers so you could grab stuff to try without committing to a 4 or 6 pack. I wish more breweries would do this. Great experience overall!
I’ve been visiting the tap room for nearly 20 years. It’s obvious that you’ve deprioritized service. I’m a long time mug club and like your beer, but I’m done waiting 10 to 15 minutes for my first beer and any more beers, no matter what day of the week.
Most breweries can make a good beer. A lot of breweries can make one great beer. Very few can make several really great beers. In my rankings, Founders is #1. This location is first-class all the way! I was a little surprised - you're not gonna drink on the cheap, but really the prices aren't bad for quality of beer and environment that you're getting. I very much wish I lived closer.
One question: My receipt and Google Maps do not agree on the street name. When did the street get renamed, and why?
Always great beer
Craft beer heaven — my IPA was crisp with a citrus bite. Paired it with their beer-cheese dip and pretzels, which worked perfectly. It’s a big, casual space, sometimes loud, but fun if you’re into the local brewing culture.
Great atmosphere.
Best beer!
Good food. (Fries could be warmer. )
Food was delicious and service was great -
New food menu is pretty good. I got the chicken Parm and both the noodles and the chicken were cooked perfect. Staff handled our large party of 8 with no problems and the waiter was fun and good!
Kyle was hilarious on our tour, very down to earth. Super friendly staff and their new kitchen menu is very delicious and goes well with their already famus and historic beer. A must visit place in grand rapids! We will revisit in the future.
Never accurate opening times/dates. Very unreliable.

Amazing beer, amazing vibes.
Great beer. Really one of the best I tried. I was so impressed I took the glass home. (hope you not upset that I steal your glass)
Cheers! 🍻
I LOVED THIS PLACE!!! 😍 if you go to GR you should visit this place. Good music, good environment, AMAZING BEERS (All of them for the same price) I promise, I'll be back
Plenty of room, good food, good service. My only complaint was that nearly everything they had on tap was available in bottles at my local beer store. Was hoping to try some different stuff or maybe some mad science experiments. All in all, definitely recommend though.
Comfortable atmosphere, Great service!
