Between Gita Pita and Char, you have the BEST food in GR! The portions are huge, which makes the pricing very fair. I eat one Fattah bowl for four meals and just order two extra of the Saj bread. The owner and employees are always kind and go out of their way to make your meal exactly what you want. This is the first restaurant that I recommend to anyone going downtown. Oh and do yourself a favor and get some Greek fries while you are there.
My family and I were in Gita pita on Jan 2nd 2025 around 5. The staff was working alone and there was a few people waiting in line. We had a big order and he got the order out quick and was welcoming. Food is always good.
Best pita place I've been to in years. Service was top notch and very friendly. They even helped pick out some great choices. After getting the food it was so good and fresh. Flavors bursting with every bite. We will be back to try more. Can't wait to get back to Grand Rapids.
