We had a friend's holiday gathering there today. It was my first time there. Everything was wonderful. The food and service was excellent. Generous portions and moderately priced. I'll definitely be back when I'm in Grand Rapids.
Favorite Chinese place in GR. Excellent across the board menu. A life hack when visiting, for vegetarians and vegans, is that they will let you sub tofu for any meat in their entrees. A bit pricey, but worth it.
We stopped in at the Golden Wok for lunch on Christmas. All of the staff we interacted with were very nice and helpful, even though the restaurant was packed. The atmosphere was great and all of the various dishes we sampled were fresh and delicious. Only thing I would point out is for people who love spicy food. They use a 1-10 scale with 1 being not spicy and 10 being very spicy. I ordered level 7 and it was not very spicy. Thus, if you like spice, would recommend level...
