Had lunch at the Gypsum Grill today after a fun morning playing golf. Sat outside with my girlfriends and enjoyed the beautiful view. Unfortunately the service was disappointing. We waited 10 minutes to be acknowledged, another 10 min to receive waters, another 10 for the actual drink order (& one was forgotten). We actually had three different waitstaff come to our table each time to either take the orders or deliver the drinks (it was confusing). After a half hour wait...
Nice place to eat with good views when it's nice out. It's standard GFS/Sysco food, but the menu is solid and a bit more eclectic compared to something like West Side Social. Be careful not to make too much fun of the golfers below; it's the last hole and they'll be sitting next to you soon!
A must visit! Whether you are playing a round at the Mines or not, this restaurant is worth it. The atmosphere, food and service were all top notch. I don’t live in the area but I will absolutely be back the next time I am in GR!
