We booked a reservation at Mertens before we went to the symphony. We decided to do an earlier reservation because my husband and I wanted the Chataeubriand, which is an amazing dinner for two. We chose the garlic mashed potatoes and green beans as our sides and their housemade red wine steak sauce. Our server was very attentive and carved our chateau at the table, which is a lovely touch. I love this building and its rich history. This place is great and the service was excellent! I just hope more people know about this treasure! If you haven't been in a while, get back to Merten's, it is worth the visit!
We really enjoyed the GR Restaurant week menu at Mertens prime, and I glad we went because it introduced us to this amazing restaurant! Kate our waitress was amazing and went over and beyond helping my daughter in law Ruth her food allergies! We will return
