Not only is it the best Indian restaurant in town, it’s my favorite restaurant overall in town. The ingredients are legitimately fresh, the food has so much flavor and the owner is very friendly. If you've never been here or never tried Indian food before you won’t be disappointed. Recommend the chaat samosa, cheese naan, tandoori chicken biryani or tikka masala. 10/10
Worst restaurant in Grand Rapids. I ordered mixed tandoori platter and it’s disgusting. I ordered butter naan but they gave me plain roti.

the food is not good. it doesn't taste good at all. the naan is thin and rubbery. the masala isn't good either. the prices for the food is high. you can find everything at other Indian food places for at least $2-$5 cheaper and the food is better too. not only does the food not taste good, the service is bad as well. I went to pick up my order and the guy at the register (I assume who is the owner) was on a phone call with some one talking in a different language. he didn't even end the call when cashing me out. he also left the register open and unattended for about 3 mins to get more bills for my change. i just feel like that was all very unprofessional. the ambiance of the restaurant is not very pleasant either. it was dark and dirty and EMPTY (not a single other person eating or getting take out) too. I don't know how they're in business. I do not recommend this place.

The food was absolutely incredible! This was easily the best Indian Food I’ve ever had! I had the vegetable samosas, Rajma Aloo, and vegan garlic naan. The building and dining room look rough, but the food was so good and flavorful!It is a tad on the pricey side. Honestly, I’d rather have a little smaller portion, and knock the price down a little bit.

Tony is amazing and I think this is indeed the best Indian food in West Michigan. Not just hyperbole. Often get the food to go but if you want a quiet place to eat with friends and family - there is always plenty of room onsite - not fancy decor but great for fellowship. My son had his wedding rehersal dinner there and Tony had an amazing buffet for us. Can't say enough good about India Town
