Pleasant and delicious. Recommended.
Our server, the food, and atmosphere were all exceptional. The low score comes from the owner charging a 3% service fee for card payments. CARD PROCESSING FEES ARE A COST OF DOING BUSINESS. Roll the cost into your product, don't act childish and make it a line item on the bill.

Need to go more than once to make a final decision. Food was very good our first visit.
Edit: since 7 years ago, it’s improved a lot.

My NY strip was excellent. The other food that people at our table had was just okay: crab cakes, ribs, chicken piccata.

Staff are friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind
Really wanted to love this restaurant and try something new but we will not be back. Very grateful to have sat on the patio for one of the last warm nights, but our server forgot to put our orders in, told us she would rush them (so we waited an hour for food) and my dish was cold. I had to ask for it to be taken off. We waited 25 minutes for the check and nothing. We had to go to the bar to find our server just to get the check. We paid for 2 drinks and a partially warm entree that we ended up splitting. I left starving and am now driving to get actual food to eat since I couldn't eat an actual meal after sitting here for 2 hours. I would have understood if it was busy. But it was one of the more quiet restaurants I've seen in GR on a Friday night. It's just not worth coming here for the partially warm food and having to ask for everything

First time caller. Friendly staff and inviting casual atmosphere. Started with a Daybreaker cocktail and was not disappointed. A variety of dishes to chose from. Started with the Bruschetta as an appetizer, very good flavors, only comment would be some of the toast was burnt. Stepped outside of the comfort and went all in on the Country Meatloaf and it did not let me down , flavorful and moist with the demi. Roasted carrots and broccoli were on point. Mash would taken it to the next level. Highly recommended.

The food was great, the wait staff was attentive, but the back of the house sucked. It was well over an hour from the time we ordered dinner until the meal came out.
Great First Visit – Enjoyable with Minor Improvements Needed**
This was our first time visiting this town, recommended by a friend, and we had a great experience overall! The atmosphere was fantastic—a perfect spot to hang out and relax. The only downside was the ongoing construction nearby, which slightly affected the vibe, but without it, the place would’ve been even better.
The service was friendly and attentive, and they had a good selection of drinks. The food was delicious, though nothing particularly stood out compared to other similar spots. The main reasons I’m giving a 4-star rating instead of 5 are:
1. **Limited Menu Options** – Many highly recommended dishes we were excited to try weren’t available, which was a bit disappointing.
2. **Good but Not Exceptional Food** – While everything tasted great, nothing truly wowed us or felt unique compared to other restaurants in the area.

Went for birthday dinner. It was busy and loud but did not wait long for table as we made reservation and requested to sit outside. Their menu is very small and apparently changes often. Ordered crab cakes for starter and after 20 mins of waiting were told they ran out and we replaced with Fried Calamari which was hard and got sent back. Ordered Steak entree which tasted like nothing and Grilled Shrimp with rice. The shrimp that were not overcooked were good and the rice was undercooked and hard in outer plate. Only enjoyed the Paloma cocktail and Cherry Bread Pudding dessert. Probably would return and give another try as it did not appear to be the best day to visit as reviews for restaurant are mostly good.

I actually broke down right outside their parking lot. A very helpful and friendly young woman came out to help me, then a young man came and helped me push my jeep off the road into the parking lot. They both work at this amazing establishment. Many people passed me by. Many people pulled into the parking lot not giving me a helping hand or to see if I was alright. It was extremely hot out. I’m very grateful to these two workers who took the time to make sure I was okay. The young woman knowing it was actually my birthday came back out and gave me dessert for my birthday. This made my day. As a disabled veteran this young woman changed my day just by showing such kindness. The young man too. One day I hope to come into the restaurant to repay the kindness to these two workers. I don’t know their names. But thank you both.
