Love's Ice Cream & Chocolate

While visiting family, we went to the Grand Rapids Downtown Market. After dinner, we stopped at Love’s Ice Cream & Chocolate for dessert. They have vegan options as well as regular ice cream. The vegan Coconut Fudge Ripple was excellent and the vegan Dark Chocolate is fantastic! Our family had regular ice cream and tells me that it is also fantastic. I highly recommend Love’s Ice Cream & Chocolate.

We capped off our dad-daughter date with a trip to Love's this past weekend. By far the best quality ice cream in West Michigan.

Love’s is inside the Public Market - tucked in the back, but so worth finding! I’m dairy-free, and they had six different vegan and gluten-free options, which is a dream.

They offer free tastings, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! I ended up getting the vegan dark chocolate, vegan amaretto cherry, and vegan lavender blueberry - loved all three! 😋 The texture is like gelato, but the staff explained it’s more coconut-based.

Bonus: there’s plenty of seating nearby, making it a great little spot to chill and enjoy your treat. Definitely coming back! 🍦✨

Amazing high quality ice cream that is rare to come by these days. Waffle cone is also tasty and done well.

Definitely stop by when you are at the market!

I don't mind it paying more but it was too sweet the waffles and the ice-cream. I will never buy again.

We chose Love's to be the dessert option at our wedding this past May and it was such a hit! Their team was extremely helpful and responsive leading up to the big day and made hiring them a breeze. On the actual wedding, they were so professional and fun and the ice cream is always amazing! Our guests have not stopped talking about how delicious it was and how fun it was to have the ice cream cart there. Highly recommend using Love's for your next event. :)

Clean and modern ice cream shop with lots of seating. A good selection of unique flavors. Highly recommend stopping by for a treat.

I had their vegan coconut and dark chocolate in a vegan waffle bowl. The ice cream was so smooth and rich and satisfying. It was delicious! I was excited to be able to have those options! I definitely recommend them to anyone!

We had an Old Fashioned and an Expresso Martini with ice cream. Both were delicious. The staff was very friendly.

Waited as the ONLY 2 people in line or at the store, on a slow Tuesday, for over 5 minutes without being said hello, or just a moment, or ill be right with you - again, the only customers! That tiny acknowledgement would go a long way. We walked away, still with no comment.. are we supposed to stand there for another 10 minutes with no word? The employee did answer the phone half way through, but she could have at least look up and acknowledgedour presence. It was extremely off putting and you lost 2 customers.

Oh my gosh this ice cream is amazing!!! The vanilla was out of this world, I was truly shocked how good vanilla could be!! Strawberry was pretty fantastic too.

The one star is based on just the hot chocolate drinks we had. Too much Lecithin...could clearly taste that rather than the chocolate. Hardly any cocoa taste Plus 8 dollars is extravagant for a small cup.
