I literally just got off the phone with a lady at Ludwick's. Our local Meijer stores which carried the sour cream donuts in their frozen food section apparently quit doing so. I called and they ship directly to a residence for no change in product cost. Thank you Ludwick's Bakery. You officially have a loyal customer.
My family has been trying to find these donuts here in the Kalamazoo Michigan area for quite some time now, and never have. We used to get them at Meijer. Recently my wife and I traveled to Grand Rapids about a 60 mile run, as we had some business there, so we thought we could find them there, as that's where they're made. No such luck. We haven’t been able to get Ludwicks donuts for a bit. We drive to Grand Rapids to pick some up. The sign says Bill Knapp now. I hope they don’t change the recipe. I’m thinking now might be a good time for Bill Knapp to see how we liked Ludwicks product. Maybe they will work to retain what we enjoyed about them. Don’t change everything about this brand please, it’s iconic. We first had one on Mackinaw Island, we drove to get some for our daughter’s visit from Tacoma....read full review
