I’m not a prolific review giver, but I just got lunch for the first time from Making Thyme and I’m blown away! We got two salad samplers and two cookies and everything is fresh, flavorful, and unique. It was also very affordable! The service was friendly and efficient — believe David was at the counter?

We will be back!!!

My go-to for the weeks I am unable to cook, yet want nutritious gourmet food. I haven't had a single item I didn't like. The cookies are better than your grandma's...yeah, I said it!

Dietary restrictions: Everything is clearly marked on both ingredients and instructions. Chefs on hand to answer questions about ingredients (low/salt free).

Parking: Watch out for the small lake entering double spot parking area! It is deeper and more vast than it looks!

Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcomed by owners but will become bored easily.

I had a great lunch take-out, they put their pulled pork onto field & fire bread. The people who work there are very nice! I can’t wait to go back for another lunch.

This place has been AMAZING! After my Mom passed away, my sister & I have been ordering meals from here for my Dad. They are AMAZING! Everything is homemade, and tastes absolutely wonderful. There is nothing my Dad hasn't liked! Karen & Ken are very helpful & extremely wonderful. This place is truly unlike any other in Grand Rapids! I cannot recommend them enough!!

This place is by far one of the cutest places to get food. Everything is homemade at the kitchen, healthy option & they even have freshly prepared take home meals. The sodas they sell at the store is homemade & local. I got the rosemary chicken salad & the sweet pepper coleslaw & it was amazing. The owner Karen was so sweet & very informative & passionate about her business! Highly recommend. & most importantly we will be back ❤️

From out of state, I had the ability to work with the Making Thyme Kitchen and secure last minute cookies for a VERY special group of local students. I am thrilled with the entire experience and I am proud to share a REAL love for their community! Thank you - sincerely. I strongly suggest supporting this local business.

Owner was rude and condescending. Food was overpriced and poor quality.

We love pasties and have sampled them from about 15 different shops over the years. Making Thyme Kitchen is tied for first place with a little store near the north shore of Lake Gogebic in the western U.P. I can't remember the name of the place but it's on road 64. Making Thyme's has fresh cuts of sirloin and pork steak in them. It's a treat to have one of the best ones right here in G.R.
