One of the biggest reasons we look forward to summer is because Heights Cream opens again! This literal hole-in-the-wall in Alger Heights has a wonderful variety of ice creams, but our favorite is the flurries. It's the summer of ice cream for me, and Heights Cream hit the spot! Some friends and I had lunch at the Old Goat down the street recently before heading to Garfield Park for disc golf. While at lunch I remembered hearing about this new spot opening up and checked out their Yelp page - sure enough, they were just down the block and open that day!
