The mezcal selection was good and the service was prompt and courteous. I had the Falda Huaraches as an appetizer and they were tasty when topped with the smoky salsa. Excellent texture and perhaps slightly on the dry side. The real disappointment was the Carne Asada A La Tampiquena 1939. The skirt steak was rather stingy and difficult to cut and chew. The medium-rare was more on the rare side. Several pieces were discarded on the plate. Maybe the mole would have been a better...
Totally awesome place with a great atmosphere! The food (especially the Pozole Blanco) was absolutely delicious! Kudos to the chef! The staff were friendly and professional, though at times they seemed a bit stretched thin, as our drinks went empty here and there. With just a little more support for the servers, this place would be next-level.
This place should have been a lot busier in my opinion. Food was next level. Best mahi mahi tacos and margaritas in town! We felt like we were back on vacation in playa del Carmen. Excellent flavors! Service was great too. We will make sure to be back.
