This was probably one of the most low stakes AYCE situation I have ever been in. I really did not feel an overwhelming pressure to devour everything just because the price was low. You get the whole shebang—90min to eat, unlimited drinks, unlimited sushi, unlimited appetizers, unlimited fried rice and noodles, etc. and all for the price of $18.99 per person. The menu is obviously smaller for AYCE, but no big deal. Normally I don’t get appetizers because AYCE...

Tldr: Had a bad experience but they made it right.
My husband was ignored for 45 minutes when trying to pick up our dinner, which sucks because we have eaten in and the food is actually really good. He left without the food after they kept ignoring him.
Edit: They reached out next day and apologized, refunded us, and gave a gift certificate.

Good Chef Skills, but Limited Ingredients
The sushi chefs clearly have good skills, but the variety of ingredients is lacking. I ordered several different types of sushi, yet many of them contained the same ingredients, such as thin slices of avocado and imitation crab meat. Most of the sushi contained only very thin slices of raw fish, making it seem like the restaurant was trying to cut costs.
