Shio 42 Ramen
Hakodate is a city on the island of Hokkaido, Japan and is the birthplace for this style of ramen which happens to share nearly the same latitude as Grand Rapids! This is important to note because their weather allowed for this lighter, sea salt-based soup to flourish there, making this also the perfect soup pairing for us here in West Michigan. It?s umami, simple, and clean. Made with house-made traditional noodles and rich pork bone broth. Served with scallions, sprouts, kikurage, naruto, nori, negi oil, and umami butter. Shoyu Ramen
This soup shares the birthplace with my mother's home town in Yokohama. Slightly more complex than shio, this soy sauce-based bliss is composed with traditional noodles, bone broth, and our house-made shoyu tare. A nod to the Hispanic side of my family. We combined this traditional Mexican dish into a delicious ramen fusion. Noodlepig noodles, pork bone broth, and our tomato-guajillo based pozole tare offers the best of both worlds into one bowl. Comfort, complex, with a hit of spiciness, just like my Mexican wife. Katsu Sando XL
The ultimate sandwich! We took this Japanese convivence-store staple to the next level! Freshly panko-fried Japanese tonkatsu (pork cutlet) topped with shredded cabbage, Japanese pickled cucumber salad, mayo, and our proprietary house-made tonkatsu sauce, served on a butter-toasted brioche bun. Add side of Japanese Fries for $3 or Edamame for $2.

When I showed up they explained the whole menu for me and even offered to add more stuff if we hadn't had enough even while eating. They went above and beyond service and the food is just as good. I HAVE TO RECOMMEND THE FRYS, THEY ARE THE BEST THING ON THE MENU!

Great food service is good only service you have is talking to cashier and someone calling your name. But all staff were friendly would be 5 stars if the prices were a little more reasonable for what you are getting.

First off, the service was very quick and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Big ups to the staff here.

The ramen broth was just right and there's different broths to choose from and 2 different heat levels to choose from as well. There's plenty of add-ons in protein and veggies to choose from. The curry tonkatsu and pork belly were delicious and added plenty of extra flavors to the already tasty broth.
