Nice dinner last night before a show a few blocks away at Pyramid Scheme. Place was about half full so quick seating, enjoyed the smash burger/fries/beer tuesday special (great deal) with crab cakes. The burger was fantastic, fries came out lukewarm and pretty oily but very tasty (fries might’ve made in advance for the special and maybe the fryer wasn’t hot enough?). Friendly & quick service was nice. I’d go back again for sure but hoping for hot/fresh fries next time.

This was our first time here and our favorite was the pierogies! The garlic fries were really delicious too. The Mahi tacos were as expected (good). Service was great too. The ambience and aesthetic inside is also nice.

I’m not sure how pan seared would come out as if it were deep fried. Had to send the perogies.
Then I tried the squash risotto. No where on the menu did it state anything would be spicy, the sauce was and the chutney on the side was ridiculously spicy.
There wasn’t much flavor in the squash risotto. Also there wasn’t any fresh sage.

This was a letdown, definitely won’t be back.

Tonight my (adult) kid took me out to dinner and wanted to try this place. I'm always up for someplace new plus I have a group of women friends that often go to tavern restaurants for drinks and food and I thought maybe we could add this to our list. I don't think we'll be adding it. The service was fine. Our server was as attentive as she needed to be, although she didn't seem super happy about her job. Not really friendly and spoke quietly. The music was LOUD. The kid got the Smashburger and California Fries and I got the Meatloaf. Both came out rather quickly and looked amazing. And they were delicious. I will say the meatloaf was a little heavy on the sauce. It was a delicious sauce but a little overpowering and I didn't really need it smothering my potatoes and asparagus too. But still delicious. No regrets. It is a little pricey for the amount of food you get. And the atmosphere just wasn't my vibe. It was almost uncomfortable. Can't really put my finger on why, but it just felt cold (not temp-wise). Uninviting. I wouldn't call it a fail, if someone invited me out there again I would go. But it was definitely a miss for us. I don't think the ladies will be hanging out there anytime soon. Photo of the meatloaf below.

Our waitress was very annoying, talked very loud. Rarely checked on us and when she did she was already walking away as we asked for something like ketchup or more water. Then she wouldn't return with the item for an extended length of time. If she was my waitress again, I would either sit in a different section or leave.

Came for a work lunch. The servers were very rude. They mixed up our orders and when I addressed it with them, they said “okay what do you want us to do?”. My co-worker and I had to swap all of our food of our plate and remove all the toppings we asked not on our sandwiches.
Also, they never came to check on us.

Food was okay as well

Very pretty inside, it looks like we are outside on the terrace in a city atmosphere, but inside!

Exceptional food, Brussels sprouts as a starter: a favorite! (No photos, we ate them so quickly ?)

Couldn’t finish my meal because of the overwhelming popcorn smell. Didn’t know this place was connected to a movie theater. What confused me was that the door between the restaurant and the theater Concession booth was propped wide open, why not just close it? Even your workers agreed it is unpleasant.

I recently came here for a birthday dinner with a group of five friends, and we were all blown away by the fantastic food! None of us had been here before, and every single person in our group was impressed by the quality and flavor of the dishes. The ambiance was perfect for a special celebration, and the staff were friendly and attentive.

The only thing I would recommend is inquiring more than a week and a half ahead if you’re hoping to book the Chef’s Table. I tried reaching out but unfortunately never heard back. Despite that, our experience overall was wonderful, and I would still highly recommend this place!

The food was good but the service was terrible! They made three African American women wait for their food and then served it cold to them!
