Nice dinner last night before a show a few blocks away at Pyramid Scheme. Place was about half full so quick seating, enjoyed the smash burger/fries/beer tuesday special (great deal) with crab cakes. The burger was fantastic, fries came out lukewarm and pretty oily but very tasty (fries might’ve made in advance for the special and maybe the fryer wasn’t hot enough?). Friendly & quick service was nice. I’d go back again for sure but hoping for hot/fresh fries next time.

This was our first time here and our favorite was the pierogies! The garlic fries were really delicious too. The Mahi tacos were as expected (good). Service was great too. The ambience and aesthetic inside is also nice.

Tonight my (adult) kid took me out to dinner and wanted to try this place. I'm always up for someplace new plus I have a group of women friends that often go to tavern restaurants for drinks and food and I thought maybe we could add this to our list. I don't think we'll be adding it. The service was fine. Our server was as attentive as she needed to be, although she didn't seem super happy about her job. Not really friendly and spoke quietly.
