I came in with my husband yesterday and had a wonderful bartender, I never got her name, but we were there 12/20/24 and had the best service! She was attentive to my husbands dietary restrictions and very honest with what she felt was safe for recommendations. Very nice girl. She got very busy with a huge work party and never took focus off of making sure we were taken care of. Great staff!!! Will definitely be back and tell our friends to stop over.

By far the worst bar experience I’ve ever had.

My friends and I came in last min and let me just say this place never disappoints! Food, drinks, and service are always on point. From my experience at bars like this service isn’t great but we got everything promptly and correctly. Ashley was AMAZING- literally got everything we needed asap. This is our favorite spot in Grand Rapids!

O’Tooles is a great bar to check out. Great food and great drinks. Atmosphere, and service from all of the staff is top notch! Definitely recommend checking out O’Tooles!

I love O’Tooles! I love that they also are open on lions game days. So much fun & lively environment. $10 slider basket deal with $3 touchdown shots! Ashley was our server and she was amazing!!! Highly recommend!

I’m not one to review places.. but I have to say I’m severely disappointed with this bar. I went to the front of the line and asked the door man if I could pay for me and my friends to skip the line and if there was vip. I handed him my gold Amex card and he snickered and laughed at me. He said you’re not gonna pay for that man. I said dude how much is it just run the card. I was super disappointed in that. I tried spending tons of money with the bar just to get laughed at and mocked? What type of night bar is that. When training your door guy.. tell him to let people spend lots of money with you. Ended up going across the street to a dive bar and had loads of fun.. didn’t spend a dollar with the jackass door guy who couldn’t answer a simple question and make his company money. I wouldn’t have been as mad if he said we didn’t do vip or skip lines but when I asked him he seemed like it was for sure a possibility then shortly after snickered. Lame if you ask me. They do decent but won’t survive if they don’t get better staff. Me and my friends (who love to spend lots of money btw) won’t be back.

Don’t normally leave reviews but felt the need to share our experience. We tried O’Toole’s for the first time last weekend and fell in love right away. We had incredible service and the food was amazing as well. Loved it so much we came back less than a week later with another couple and was so so disappointed. The food was still incredible but we had absolutely horrible service. The waitress was not friendly at all, forgot half of the drinks we ordered, brought drinks we didn’t ask for, forgot our waters and extra sauces we asked for as well. She rushed us to cash out and then when we didn’t tip very well due to the service we received she came back and said “was my service bad or something because you didn’t hardly tip.” We were all quiet for a second and I finally said, as politely as I could muster, “to be honest, it wasn’t great.” She stormed off and we left very disappointed. I am a server as well so I understand we all have bad days but I also know you can’t give bad service with an attitude and expect a good tip. Really wish we had the same server we’d had the first time we were there because she was great and got the tip she deserved. Great food and drinks tho.

This is the worst customer service i have experienced. Our waitress Alexandria (who works Tuesday nights) was awful from the starting, she kind of threw the menus on the tabe like she was not at all interested in the job but she sure do expect a lot. She was demanding high tip when she did the worst service. When you work with customer service, smiles are a part of the job. Never expected this. Not coming back😑

Food is amazing we got the boneless bbq wings and fries with cheese sauce and ranch. Gotta dip the cheese sauce first then the ranch. The service was amazing, Brad wasn’t even working and he still went out of his way to help us get the cheese sauce. The atmosphere was a 6/5 if I could.⭐️

I was in on Thursday night, Olivia was my server. I had a couple of friends with me, we were there for about 2 hours watching the football game, we had just over $100 tab. I accidentally left my sunglasses on the table when I left. I came in today, Friday to try to get them back and saw Olivia and asked her if I had left my sunglasses there. She remembered me and said “Yes you did, let me go check for them.” She looked around the bar and down in the lost and found and returned and said while laughing, “sorry someone must have taken them, people are thieves.” So she remembered me, remembered I had left my sunglasses and somehow in one night they were taken by someone. Either she is the thief, or one of her coworkers is the thief. I used to frequent this place back when I lived in GR. I will now never go back. I will happily take this review down if the thief returns them or if O’Tooles management wants to replace them. They’re only $28 sunglasses but it is the principle of the matter.
