I order from the spot about once every two weeks as someone who doesn’t normally order food. It’s always a great treat because it’s very fresh and flavorful. I have to request my sauces on the side because of certain health issues. Today when I ordered, they forgot to do that, but when I called and asked for it to be remade, they gladly remade it for me. Very cute place to eat at, I ordered a chirasi don and at first was a bit sceptical because it didn't seem like enough food.
Getting to it, it was a perfect amount and I can't express how fresh the fish tastes while being super balanced with all the rest of ingredients. I thought I might need soy or something with it, but all the components come together perfect with a bit of sesame oil and some other sweet/sour/umami components.
