Went for the Wednesday burger special. They don't have burgers. Only fried foods. We stayed anyway. Single employee running the bar and dining room. But she was great. Forgot to take a picture of the SW egg rolls before we gobbled them up. Tasty!
Rolled in haggard right at opening off flight from Tampa, FL. In a Bucs tee in Lions country no less.
The people were very local and authentic. While they seemed slightly skeptical at first as every local saloon should be, the locals were more than chill and cool, friendly and decent as long as you’re not there to eff about. If you do want to act out, I’m sure the friendly locals would roll ya right out without a second thought.

This was my go-to bar when I lived in the Grand Rapids area. The staff knows how to adapt to every customer's personality and make them feel welcomed. I have also always appreciated the good food and drink knowledge of most of the bartenders.
