Amber was so rude and smelled so bad. Walked into the bathroom and saw her hitting her vape. Overheard her talking about doing drugs. I will never go back and this was one of my favorites.

I don’t typically go out downtown, but a friend was in town for a conference down there, so we met for dinner and a drink. I wasn’t sure how busy things would be on a Friday evening, but we were able to get a table right away and had great service. The atmosphere was cute. Our server, Wyatt was exceptional: just the right mix of attentive and chill, a real professional who knows how to read his table.

Not sure where everyone is going in these other reviews, but this is a pretty run of the mill pub-fare restaurant, overpriced. Food was nothing special, pretty poor selection, incredibly overpriced.
Not sure where people are seeing a "quirky" or unique layout inside. It's standard industrial postmodern. I was incredibly disappointed after being very excited to try it out.

A bright, lively spot with quirky decor serving vibrant dishes, but it all feels highly contrived. It’s branded as street food from around the world but it’s really just fried, saucy modern American pub fare—which is great if you're into that kind of thing.

Usually I have the best time here and love the food themed from other parts of the world. But today 12/12 around 4 pm the service was horrible! The host with black bangs was not friendly and couldn't even mutter out a "right this way!" when walking us to our table. The young male server with curly brown hair might be new? But he didn't tell us about happy hour so good thing I asked. He asked to see our ID's when we ordered drinks & didn't even notice it was my friends bday?! Yes I had to ask if they do anything for bdays later on. He started to make drinks and basically forgot about us. He was just standing in front of the kitchen with his co workers & chatting, meanwhile we needed service so when I was staring at him he finally walked over. Then when we clearly were done he didn't even come over. Another co worker came over and asked us if we needed anything which we said yes the bill please. She just brought over a receipt no instructions how to pay (which I knew they use toast to collect payment.) Had to ask another server to get him so we can pay our bill and leave. Pretty pathetic to beg for service when you spend $80 at an almost empty restaurant.

A wide range of food styles, excellent cocktails, and right across from DeVos Place for post show convenience.

Just phenomenal
The food here is delicious! My best friend and I have an annual tradition of coming here the Friday after the MISHRM conference. The vibes at Roam are like no other restaurant. This year was extra special as some cherished friends joined us, and we had EXCEPTIONAL service from Nate aka “Natey Potatey”. The food was stellar per usual (super excited about the Rangoon dip), and we cannot wait to come back next year. Pls give Nate a nice bonus. Thank you xoxo

We were here working at the tattoo convention and needed some quick food but also wanted to sit down and relax. Nolan was extremely welcoming as soon as we walked through the door! With the variety of food choices my wife and I had a hard time choosing what we wanted. We wanted it all! The food was incredible! We are from Traverse City and don’t make it down here often. We want to plan a special trip in the future just to come here again! Thanks to Nolan we had the best experience! Can not wait to come back!

I passed this place a hundred times and didn't go in because I thought it was a high-end restaurant. But my son wanted to go, and as it turns out, it's a phenomenal international street food restaurant! What??! I had the Singapore Curry even though it has tofu in it (which i don't like), and my son had the Schnitzel - both delicious, I even liked the tofu! We also tried the chicken satay skewers and the Rangoon dip, which were both fabulous. I had a mocktail called 50 shades of earl grey that was divine. Service was quick, staff friendly, and the place was clean. Will definitely go back!

I really enjoy San Chez and had been wanting to try Roam for a while. Decided to check it out with some friends from out of town and it was quite delicious and fun. The theme is based on world street foods, they have a pretty diverse menu and everything we ordered was delicious from the poke bowl, to kielbasa, to lamb shawarma and lions mane fried sandwich.
The the space is small but cute and we had no trouble getting seated right away in the afternoon during ArtPrize. The service was alright. Check it out if you want to a variety of food options that are well made.

We had a work dinner meeting here, and we loved it. The food was delicious and the staff was attentive. The entree portions are a bit small, so order accordingly.
