I ordered an 11 oz. Filet, cooked to medium but it was close to well done. I ate it but should have asked them to recook it. I did mention it to our server and he asked if i wanted another one but i declined that. The manager was nice and apologized and comped a feee desert. Overall a lovely dinner but in hindsight, i wished, after i cut into it, to ask them for a cut and cook to a medium.
The food was excellent. Started with the calamari, which was perfectly cooked (not many restaurants can do that), and ended with crab cakes and 16 oz New York Strip. The service was exceptional.
An excellent visit to Ruth's Chris restaurant for Mother's Day for my wife and me. The steaks (both of us had the filet) had a crispy outer layer followed by a tender, properly cooked inner layer. The mushrooms were excellent and the potatoes OK. We will return there. The menu was quite varied.
