We hadn't been here in years! Everything remains delicious and filling. Two of us had the roast beef and one BLT. Each were meaty and flavorful. There must've been half a pound of bacon on the BLT! We were told half an hour wait but we had our order in about 20 minutes. There's a wide variety of sides and beverages. Although we didn't order any the sides were homemade and looked yummy! This is such an iconic deli in our town!!

I honestly am astonished at how disrespectful the cook "bald guy" were he told me I was only able to order cold sandwiches and they kicked me out because they "close at 3" it was 2:45 at the time I politely asked if it would be possible to eat really quick considering that it wasn't 3 o'clock he put in his AirPods and walked away which I thought was really disrespectful considering I work at a restaurant also and I would never treat a customer who is spending there hard earned money in my business like that.

If you’re looking for a deli sandwich this is the place to go. I have gone a few times and every time the sandwiches I get are really good. Big portions of meat and the sides like the pasta salad and broccoli salad go well along with the sandwiches. My favorite so far is the Chicago Reuben. Friendly service and good food!

Great food!! We all got #24 The Big John, it tasted amazing and was only $13. They have 24 sandwiches that range from $10-13. Great bread options and soups! Great staff, it was our first time here and the vibes are great! It's also located near the Guatemalan store so that is nice.

The reviews didn’t disappoint. I ordered the Corn beef sandwich with 1000 island dressing, Swiss cheese and coleslaw, if was really good. The portion was generous. I also had the red potato salad. It was a nice surprise and the potatoes were soft and not undercooked like some places tend to do if they don’t know how to make a good potato salad. I will definitely go back to try other things on the menu.

Fantastic! I popped in from out of town. I had the best sandwich, it was so good! The bread was fresh, meat was moist and a lot of it! I thought the place was friendly and clean. I wish it was in my home town. I will go back!

If you enjoy a corned beef or pastrami sandwich this is a where you want to go here in Grand Rapids! The staff is great and the sandwiches are awesome! Whenever I'm in the area near Schnitz and I catch them when they are open I almost always grab a sandwich! They gave a couple different varieties of cakes for dessert as well that are pretty tasty.
