I came from KS to Electric Forest with one goal: try these tamales and my life changed that day. The masa was fluffy and delicious - made with love and technique! The beans were so flavorful and the rice had a lingering spiciness that was just right. We were tasting it hours after we finished eating. Delish! I will go out of my way to get more of these tamales any chance I get. YUM!

This place has amazing tamales! My favorite are the spicy chicken. They are definitely the best in the area! I order here often the prices are great and the food is consistently good. I had a horrible experience at Los Portales yesterday because this place was unfortunately closed on Sunday so I had to settle and boy did I pay for that. Los Portales food was terrible and they forgot my tortillas with my fajitas and when I called to complain was hung up on. This place is far superior...

My partner and I love it here, after moving the Grand Rapids it quickly became our favorite spot for a good meal at a great price. Irene has always been so welcoming and kind and the restaurant itself is really active in the community so it is a prime location for supporting local businesses and enjoying yourself at the same time!
