This is hands down the most underrated taqueria in Grand Rapids and the surrounding areas – a true hidden gem for anyone craving authentic Mexican flavors. The menu is refreshingly simple, offering a selection of tacos, tostadas, quesadillas, and chilaquiles, but it’s all you need. The tortillas are handmade, and the meats are full of flavor, tender, and juicy. Tacos come with the traditional toppings of chopped onions and cilantro, and let me tell you, no taco is complete without its perfect companion – salsa! This place takes salsas seriously, offering a range of bold, flavorful options that pack real spice (and there’s something for every spice preference). Unlike the bland, watered-down salsas you often find elsewhere, these are vibrant, complex, and absolutely delicious. The tacos and quesadillas are outstanding, but don’t miss the chilaquiles – especially with the green salsa. They’re hands down the best I’ve had. They also offer nopales – a cactus commonly used in Mexican cuisine – which makes for a great vegetarian option. It’s clear that a lot of love and passion go into every dish, and you can taste it in every bite. I have a deep appreciation for restaurants that go the extra mile to serve truly authentic food, and this place nails it. On top of the amazing food, the customer service is top-notch. Food to crave ! Ive tried the Cecina & fries tacos , the pastor, and the street quesadillas, all sooo delicious, mouth watering, flavorfull. The al pastor is so good!!!!! I mean all the tacos are. The owners are the sweetest!!! Love coming here!!

BEST TACOS IN GR!!!! I’ve been frequenting here since they are so close to my work . Always superb !!! Not once have I left disappointed or hungry … and I get a filling lunch with a drink for under $20.
We just had them cater our rehearsal dinner and everyone , I mean EVERYONE, commented on how delicious the food was . I’m currently laying in bed and still getting messages about the food this evening. Also Ali and Pedro were a joy to work with. They didn’t miss a beat.
Everything on the menu is fresh and filling yet light …. And fekkin delicious.

We are at the food truck once and everything was excellent. Very good flavor. My favorite was nopales taco and chilaquiles.

They catered a birthday party for us and delivered 100 tacos. Everyone loved the food. I would use them again for sure.

Cute, little spot right next to Uncle Cheetah's with some picnic table seating. I got my kids the cheese quesadilla, and my husband and I got al pastor tacos. Everything was so fresh and soo good! Hope this truck stays!

You love to see it. A young entrepreneurial couple doing what they love and serving the best tacos in GR. Don’t sleep on Taqueria Chilango. These guys could hold their own in L.A., but we’re fortunate to have them in GR.
