Had a wonderful experience celebrating a dear friend's Birthday. Will definitely go back for another special occasion. Only challenge was using stairs to get to bathroom. A conventional was on break, and another party going on made it difficult to navigate through to restroom.

Great table next to the window overlooking the river. Our waiter was great and the food fantastic. Paired with reasonable prices and its a winner. Fairly quiet, great for a business dinner.
We ordered the chips with blue cheese, Caesar salad, and the sausage pizza. The pizza was good, but not great. The chips with blue cheese were amazing as always and the Caesar salad was delicious and fresh. We have eaten here many times and the food is always good, but never amazing. I would recommend this place because it's a solid place to eat, but don't expect it to be the best meal you have ever had.

Really great - fantastic service! We had the lettuce wraps as an app - delish! My husband had the meatloaf and onion rings and I had the sausage fennel pizza. Both were awesome. For dessert we shared the malted milk chocolate creme brûlée. Outstanding! I highly recommend- we will visit again!

Overall great experience! We went for an early dinner. The wait staff was kind and accommodating, a little slow considering it was not busy. But worth the wait! The food is outstanding. My husband had the short ribs and I had the half chicken - both were perfection! My parents had the Shanghai noodles and loved them. The view of the river is second to none. Lovely ambience and in the Amway Grand, which can't be beat! A bit pricy but again - worth the money!!

Sort of the only game on the block when there at a conference. Miss the sports bar option.The food is good here. Not really a problem.Freddy was awesome in providing great service and a smile.

Jennifer was our server and she was fantastic! We went for a girls night out and The Kitchen did not disappoint. I had crab cakes for an appetizer and they were delicious! I had the pad Thai for dinner which the scallops were cooked to perfection. My friend had the Asian Chicken Salad and it was delicious. I wasn't impressed with the ambiance as it seemed overly bright and loud for not being very big. We will give it another shot only because the service was impeccable and the food above average! Cheers!

The food here was perfect and the drinks were strong but good. The pork short rib was cooked perfectly and the sticks and stones drink was made well. The restaurant is definitely loud.

One of our favorite places to visit in Grand Rapids! We dine out often and this is one of our favorite places food location and service is always great ! Our server Carmen is always great ! Can't go wrong for any occasion!
Belle was our server and she was attentive, sweet, and a joy to have as our server. In a world where it's hard to find employees- she's a good one to have and an excellent one to have on your team.

Brian was a great server! Attentive and so kind to us, including our 5 year old nephew who was eating with us. He made sure our child was happy with his meal and drink. We found out that he doesn't like iced tea and Brian quickly assisted in getting him something else, without embarrassing him. We really appreciated having him assist us! Job well done, Brian.

Food was excellent. Try the Spanish Cheesecake for dessert... wow! And our server Noah was terrific, too! We were seated right on time per our reservation; drinks and food came out quickly. And we were able to settle up quickly, too... no timing issues getting over to DeVos Place for the concert we were planning to attend. Love the setting at The Kitchen... only challenge is that it gets loud due to all the hard surfaces.
