The Rez is not only our fave neighborhood bar, but our #1 recommendation throughout GR. The food is phenomenal (& uniquely inspired), the service spot-on (personable, yet professional), and the environment cozy, yet spacious (perfect for small & large gatherings alike). 💯/10 experience each & every time, and by that, we mean on a weekly basis because it’s genuinely that 🔥 and then some. #regularsforlife
Former patron (moved out of state) and former employee. The food hooked me, the atmosphere got me to stay. Absolutely fantastic menu that captures the essence of Cajun flavor with a Midwestern twist. Always a great selection of draft beers from around the globe (with a special emphasis on highlighting Michigan brews). The staff is top notch. There are special events all the time and they have a great selection of bar games available.

The food was also good.
I’d recommend coming here for the drinks, definitely try the fries, and go ahead and order food—but avoid adding extras to your dishes!
We got a salad that was $9, and adding chicken cost another $7. At that point, you might as well just order two separate dishes instead :)
