We were so excited there was a Tupelo Honey when we visited Grand Rapids - we have had great experiences in other cities and prioritized coming! However, this was a really disappointing experience — the food came out cold, part of our order never made it to the table, and the service was terrible. The host and waitresses were not attentive, constantly on their phones to the side of the restaurant, and seemed bothered with any request — like for syrup for waffles or to check...

The food is excellent. The overall ambience of the restaurant is lovely. The noise level is very high and it makes it very difficult to have a conversation with the person sitting next to you without yelling.

Great service, pleasant atmosphere, and a convenient location. We loved the Sweet Potato Pancake with Bacon, Potatoes, and Desserts. We were very disappointed with the Chicken Tenders, they were very dry. Perhaps we had a bad batch because they didn't look like the tenders on their website. We would go again, and make different main meal choices.
