Nice place we often forget about because it’s a little out of sight, out of mind. The cider options are aplenty, including some unique ones you can only get there. The one on nitro was surprisingly mellow and a new favorite of mine.
I visited Vander Mill Grand Rapids with my wife on Tuesday, September 29 for their burger and cider special, and that part of the night was genuinely great. We both liked our burgers, and the cider and fries were solid. We also enjoyed the pretzel appetizer — definitely one of the highlights.
The service, however, was a downside. The food took a long time to come out, and our waitress seemed distracted, spending more time chatting with other staff...

Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon. Joe couldn't have been more accommodating or friendly and 100% made this place one of the favorite stops on our weekend trip. The food was outstanding, but the Cider is the reason we stopped. We will most certainly add this to our list of favorite spots when we visit Grand Rapids. Cannot wait to go back again!
