We absolutely loved having our party at Woodrow’s, but what truly made the experience exceptional was Elisa. She was incredibly easy to work with and made the entire booking process smooth and stress free. I had a million questions and she answered every single one with patience, knowledge and super quick responses. We’ve been recommending Woodrow’s to everyone we know and can’t wait to book another event here. The staff was amazing, the drinks were delicious and we had the best time!

My family and I had a wonderful time! However, the chairs were the worst and not enough space for seating especially for families of 5. But overall a lot of fun!

Super fun! Duckpin bowling is infinitely more fun than regular bowling… for adults and kids! Wish there were more places like this.

We had our company holiday party at Woodsrow Duck Pin Bowling and it was absolutely amazing! Our experience felt more like a 10-star rating! From the start, Elisa made the booking process seamless and stress-free. She was readily available to answer any and all questions I had, including helping coordinating the catering for our food that evening.

The entire staff went above and beyond to ensure that everything was perfect and that our group had everything we needed. A special shoutout to the Rockstar bartenders and servers! Tori was exceptional, including making some of the best cocktails in GR! If you are looking for an awesome venue for any event, THIS is the place to book. Thank you again for everything!!

I wish I could give you zero stars. I come up to Michigan from Florida very infrequently, and I fly into Grand Rapids. I like to stop here to bowl a few games, because duckpin is a ton of fun. After this awful experience I will never return. I arrived at 9:55 (an hour and five minutes before closure) to play an hour with my friend and driver from the airport. I was able to get in and they were only going to give me 30 minutes, which I didn’t like, but I was going to be alright with just so we could bowl. As soon as the nice lady rang us up, the manager (a small troll of a man) came over and asked her to refund me. She said she wouldn’t because she didn’t see an issue with it, so he pushed her out of the way and continued to do it himself. The only thing he said to me was, “here’s a refund”, then walked away.
I don’t understand what the issue was, and why we couldn’t just get our 30 minutes of bowling in. We were customers ready to spend money for drinks and time at your establishment, but I guess he didn’t want to make money. There were plenty of other people there, so it wasn’t about them closing early. He wouldn’t talk with us or give us a good reason why he wouldn’t let us play and be done with 30 minutes before their advertised hours of business.
I don’t get to come here often and it’s such a bummer that this will no longer be on my list of places to go in Grand Rapids. I would highly recommend this business to get rid of this tiny tiny man with a clear power complex. If you do, please reach out and let me know so I might reconsider returning to your business.
