Have not been to Zoup for years but it is one of the closest spots to my office. It looks like their menu offerings have increased but the prices do not seem appropriate for what you get. I got a semi air toasted but not grilled cheese/tomato sandwich that was pretty disappointing. And a cup of cauliflower soup that was ok tasting. Not worth $15.50 with no drink. Friendly staff and prompt ordering though.
I got a chile (to go) and the best way to describe it was chile broth. It was inedible! When I took it back to get a refund, they refused to give me one because they couldn’t find the order on the cash register.

First time eating here. I ordered the Cali chicken sandwich and the classic macaroni and cheese. The mac is was delicious; creamy, cheesy, and hot. The sandwich was a bit less appealing. The flavor was good, but the composition was not. I took one bite and 3 pieces of chicken fell out and avocado oozed onto my face. The cheese was not melted to the sandwich and also there was one lonesome roasted red pepper on the whole sandwich. The flavor saved it for me, I ate it deconstructed...
