Hong BBQ & Hot Pot Grandville

Pros: gorgeous restaurant, good meats, good sauces, no time-limit, and FINALLY -if one person at the table gets hot pot, not everyone has to get it! Only the person that wants it will be billed for it.
Cons: hot pot is pricey, but prices are the same as other restaurants. Not as big of a selection of appetizers/hot food bar compared to other restaurants.

If I did Hot Pot, I would likely choose this place. It’s gorgeously decorated, our waitress, Anisia, was so lovely, attentive, and helpful -and the food was delish. It’s different from other restaurants in that it didn’t have a 2-hour time limit and if my husband wanted hot pot, I didn’t have to pay for it as well. The only downside is there wasn’t as big of a selection on the cold/hot bar. But everything else was great and it is my new preferred location!

Amazing place if you like to be able to experiment with cooking you own food. Staff was super generous in treating a first timer to the hot pot scene with care and a desire to teach! Don't be afraid to ask questions and get in here to explore.

We have a party yesterday with about 20 people. The meat sees all come directly from frozen. The server did not give us the food we ordered and just ignore it. I had to yell at her three times to get the refill of coke zero.

There are much better hot pot place to go. Just search Kpot and you have the one close to lowes on 28th st. Way better. I really wish we did not go to this place.

Rebecca was so sweet during her service despite working a full day. This place has been one of my favorites, but Rebecca's service created an even better atmosphere and really relaxed. I hope to see her again and have her a waitress again 🩵

Terrible service. Barely came around for us to order more food, when they did they dropped plastic plates on the hot grill, and spilled drinks. The only time they replaced our grill was after we finished eating. I was given an incorrect bill and got up to find the waitress who was sitting at the bar on her phone. The whole place was empty and we still had terrible service. I ended up getting double charged and had to wait several weeks to get my extra bill refunded.

I love this place! The food is delicious and the decor is stunning! The BBQ is easy to navigate and they offer many sauces to enhance the different flavors. Hot pot was delicious too but I'm still learning what to add in and what I do and do not enjoy. I will keep coming back ❤️

This is my wife and I favorite place to dine 45min away we at least like to hit it one to two times a month. Grateful to have such a place that take us out of the usual dinning experience

I took my Fiance out here. First time to one of these cook yourself restaurants.
My bad not knowing it was a cook yourself upfront.
I thought we would just order something. After reading the 4.7 star reviews I thought we were in for a real treat.
But unfortunately our experience was not that.
I told the server that we had never been here before and made it clear with my fair amount of questions that we didn't really understand the concept. After figuring out we'd be cooking our own food I was all in to have a good time! 😛
But it just didn't work like expected and our service was sub par. They really didn't help or come to the table at all.
We had the food cooking for about an hour and it didnt do anything. As you can see in the pictures with time stamps.
I feel like someone should have came to the table to check on us and I thought they'd turn up the burners or something.
Overall the experience kinda sucked.

What an amazing and fantastic experience! The restaurant is gorgeous and clean! The food cooking experience is one of a kind, and all the flavors and choices were FANTASTIC! Will definitely be coming back. Great value for money, and would be a ton of fun with a big party.
