On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina

For the price we paid we get way more food and better quality food at a true Mexican restaurant. I ordered fajitas and didn't even get the traditional toppings for it. Pretty disappointing

Birria taco we're not made right, the meat was dry and way over seasoned. Waited or our drinks longer then what was a decent time. Once we received our drinks we waited for refills and had to ask the waiter about them.

This used to be my go to spot- until they got taken over by new owners. All of the stuff i ordered is now off the menu and in my opinion were the best things on the menu. The southwest chicken tacos are horrible now, i’m not sure why no longer carrying crispy onions was that big of a deal. No more firecracker jalepenos, texas loaded fries, etc. Went one time after new owners and made my decision to never go back. Very disappointing and i can tell im not the only one who felt like this. Now the parking lot is never even almost full. I wonder if they are going to go out of business or actually realize they have ruined what the grandville on the border was before that and hopefully change some things back.

Stopped in Monday for an early dinner and was delighted with the margaritas! Unfortunately my favorite southwest chicken tacos don’t have the crispy onions which I loved but my waitress Sammi got me to try the shrimp tacos and they were amazing. My waitress Sammi delivered the best service and was very impressed with her hospitality. Will definitely be coming back. Thank you for making it a great birthday Sammi!

It's alright. They recently changed their menu (downgraded) aka somebody at corporate said hey we can make more money if we use these new cheaper ingredients. My favorite southwest chicken tacos got hit. Onion straws gone, regular onions and peppers in. The chipotle sauce is no longer chipotle but a honey mustard mixed with ranch. It's pretty regular soft shell tacos with ranch sauce. The shrimp fajitas also got hit. Two things are certain, I will find a new favorite and will be frequenting here alot less.

Adriana at the On The Border on 44th Street in Grandville is seriously amazing. From the second we sat down, she was friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was perfect. Our drinks were always full, food came out exactly how we asked, and she had great recommendations that ended up being spot on.

You can tell she actually enjoys what she does and takes pride in giving great service. She made the whole experience feel easy, comfortable, and honestly just fun. The food tasted even better because of how well we were taken care of. Furthermore the color of the salads complimented my Rolex’s very well.

If you come to this location, definitely ask for Adriana she’ll make sure you get amazing service with amazing food. We’ll absolutely be back because of her.

Anne and her staff saved the day for our family. After a month and a half of planning, our original venue who was supposed to host and cater our event called and cancelled last night at 9:00 pm. We were hosting our daughter's engagement party for 45 guests. What a mess! We started calling around right away and the manager on duty let us know they would do their best to accommodate us. We called back in the morning and Anne and her staff got to work right away. The setup, service, food and staff were amazing. The hostesses were super sweet and helpful and our servers experienced and friendly. Hands down one of the best teams I have seen! The kitchen did a great job getting all of our food out quickly, even with a full restaurant! Impressed is an understatement! Thank you for all you did today! It was better than we could have ever imagined.
