We had a very good meal and tasty drinks on a Sat. evening. Waitress was attentive. Meals were served in a timely manner. I had a side salad which was very fresh tasting. Beer battered jumbo shrimp were large . My husband's Patty melt was a large patty which he said was very good. Son's prime rib looked perfectly cooked . We very much enjoyed our dinner.
From the moment we walked in to checkout, we were treated like family. Service was top notch both upstairs and downstairs! If you are a light sleeper bring earplugs. It's a Tavern/restaurant with activities going on, I didn't expect to sleep through but only woke up once and that was w/out plugs lol. It was much quieter than anticipated, after reading other's reviews. I highly recommend The Winter Inn, clean good food and great employees~Thank you!!!
Service is always good but it is overpriced and they charge $3 if you ask for carbonated water. I've been a server for 15 years and never in my life charged for soda water out of a bar gun. Its literally city water with bubbles in it. Robbery.
