Grosse Ile bakery is wonderful. They always have a good selection of donuts and cookies available. They have homemade breads and rolls, coffee and drinks. More than just a bakery.

Quality baked goods at this old-style family-run bakery. The prices are reasonable but service can be a little slow when only one staff member working, usual in morning. My one key suggestion would be to switch to paper cups for their coffee, as I found styrofoam add slightly unpleasant oily taste.

Great donuts, amazing croissants, good ice cream, coffee, bread, cookies, sub sandwiches, unique take on pizza (take & bake or by the slice), pepperoni rolls, pop, cocoa. Great place to gather, walk or bike to. Always friendly. Always fresh. Love the pictures of the locals on the walls.
I got some cinnamon rolls, apple fritters and bear claws for my guys working on Park Lane school they were great!

This has been a tradition for the last 30 plus years to order a huge platter filled with kifli for the holidays. Seriously, sooo good! I think there would be a riot at my house if I neglected to order this platter one year!
