Quality baked goods at this old-style family-run bakery. The prices are reasonable but service can be a little slow when only one staff member working, usual in morning. My one key suggestion would be to switch to paper cups for their coffee, as I found styrofoam add slightly unpleasant oily taste.
I’ve been coming here for years, and they truly have the best doughnuts Downriver—hands down. Always fresh, never too sweet, and made to perfection. Be sure to get there early, because they sell out fast!
Grosse Ile would not be itself without this bakery. It's iconic to the region. Everyone on the island loves the bakery. I've been getting their pizza for 25 years. Also, all of the traits you ever need. Thanks
