I really like this place! The food seems solid, and it's awesome to have the option on the island. But they are so slow when they're busy! (Which is often). Today, I placed an order, and they told me about 35 minutes. It usually takes about double the time, so I got there an hour and ten minutes later. And I STILL had to wait another 25 minutes or so. I don't mind too much, I just expect it. But if you're in a hurry, I would try them a different time, when you're not. I've worked in restaurants off and on my whole life. From what I can tell, they're short about one person when they're busiest. The same lady (an owner? I get the feeling this may be a family operation?) is busting her butt running around trying to answer the phone, take orders, cash people out, wait on tables, put orders together, resolve minor errors with kitchen, etc. She never slows down, juggles it all surprisingly well, and manages to still be nice to people! It's impressive. But if they had one person answering phones, entering to go orders into their POS system, and cashing people out; and then one more person waiting tables and putting the to go orders together, I think it would speed things up considerably. But then they'd have to find somebody willing to work only a couple of hours a night, and pay an extra person, which would eat into profits. And most restaurants already run on a pretty small margin, so...since I still like them, and want to support local businesses, I'll just reserve my orders for nights when I have an hour or two to spare.

Had a fabulous family meal from their NEW Holiday package! sushi tray wS enormous, plus 2 half trays of enrees fed 20 no problem! Don't forget the egg rolls & crab rangoon. Excellent!
Great sushi and miso soup. Prices are very fair especially the lunch specials.

Food was delicious especially the chicken and the scallop hibachi!! It is some of the best food we have had! Everything about this place is so special! The place mats, the plates, the tea kettle it’s all well thought out and special. The service was great even though it was one server for a busy restaurant.

Great with getting large orders together in a relatively short period of time. It’s basically only takeout. There are only a few tables in the restaurant, but it’s works!
June 12th 2024- We walked in and sat down and said hello to the lady sweeping the floor. She kept on sweeping and exactly 13 minutes later walked by and dropped two menus on the table and walked away. Ten minutes later a family that she recognized walked in she walked over and spoke with them and asked what they would like to drink! We sat for ten more minutes and she never came over!! We got up and walked out. She never said a word to us!! I have never in my life been that disrespected. I would not go back if they were offering free dinners. I wish I could give ZERO STARS…. To Answer your reply you must have us confused with another party! There were two of us and parked right in front of the door in the handicap spot. Plus we went to the table never moved. Hopefully you learn from this. Usually when you walk in menus are given and immediately the waiter says can I get you started with something to drink?? All good!!!

WOW!! Absolutely delicious. You want REAL sushi you have to come here. We found this place and we were in shock that we didn’t find earlier. Idk what else I could say besides that we have been to all sushi places around here & NOTHING compares. The owner was amazing and the food was amazing. They are opening another restaurant she told us.We ordered Aries, Fancy volcano, Spider roll,Orange chicken & fried rice, California roll, Tigers roll, Holy crab. Our favorite was Aries and Orange chicken & fried rice. But honestly they really all were so good. They also stayed open past closing time until we finished eating and we had no idea. Kind service and most of all the Sushi was like art work so soft and delicious & crunchy too. Thank you for a wonderful dinner (:

Very nice staff most have been there awhile. Good presentation and quality. Lots of food options and everything so far has been very good. Ordered a tray for Christmas Eve and food was very good which is not easy on sushi to go.

I love this place. First, I have to recommend the crab Rangoon it's the best I've ever had! I work next door and often run over to get a quick meal when we aren't busy. Eva always remembers my order and they are super quick so I can get back to work. It's super fresh and they give nice sized portions.
