“Just spent an evening at The Rustic Cabin Bar in Grosse Pointe Park, and it’s a place you must visit if you haven’t already. There’s something uniquely calming about this neighborhood gem. The highlight of my visit was watching people play pool. It’s not just a game here; it’s an art. The players, with their focused expressions, calculating each shot, made it almost meditative to watch. Every clink of the balls was like a note in a peaceful melody. “My son and I stopped for a beer last Saturday afternoon. We were the only people there. Mary sat with us and gave us a detailed history of the place—which I’m sure she’s done hundreds of times. She is so nice. Loved the place. Stroh’s beer are very inexpensive, too. No food but Mary recommended another bar for lunch in nearby Hamtramck, which turned out to be a great place. There are a few parking spots behind the bar, otherwise it’s street parking.“

“My buddy had his diaper party at Lenny’s today and we had a blast! Got good use of the pool table, had good drinks with even better friends. Bartender and owner were more than accommodating and so very friendly. We will be back!“

“I kinda liked bumbos, the outdoor space was the real winner, it was really nice that they had the pool table as well. We came here after a wine tasting and stayed until close, I’d say it’s a great spot to go to end your night, grab a little drink, meet up with some friends, play pool and chat on their well lit patio.“

“It’s like a cheers atmosphere. Everyone is so nice. The food is tasty and fresh. Bob is the best like a Clint Eastwood you can hug. Dave is cool and cooks excellent. The drinks are good and affordable. Try a game of pool or just chillax to good music. Crowd mixed. Bathroom is clean.“

“I was served a Heineken that had a broken top on it two times. I noticed the first time and told the redhead. She served me another one and put the broken glass beer bottle on the counter instead of dumping it. A blonde dreadhead served me the same warm broken bottle later on when I didn't even ask for another beer. I took a sip of it without noticing it was the same bottle from earlier and it cut my lip. When I brought this up to the redhead , she started yelling at me and telling me to not talk to her sideways. She then charged at me to attack me. Multiple patrons had to hold her back multiple times. I am owed an apology and the owner should find better help on Sundays.“
