The great outweighed the bad. The house salads were fresh and delicious and the complimentary bread is tasty. The pasta dishes were both delicious. Rigatoni Boscaiola and Pappardelle Bolognese. Angela was our waitress - she was very attentive. I had the Chicken Pastitio and my husband had Chicken Marsala. Both very good. He had the pasta fagioli and I had the side Kale Caesar Salad very good. I would highly recommend this place.

Pastaio is a wonderful addition to the Grosse Pointe dining scene. The space feels warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed—perfect for a relaxed night out that still feels a little special. The food was delicious, with so many great options that make it hard to choose just one favorite. Everything we ordered was beautifully prepared and full of flavor.
