We were in the area visiting this past week. We came in for breakfast and got take out that night for dinner. Service was great and the food was wonderful!
Hubby and I stopped in for lunch on Aug 17th and the food was so good!! They were really busy, but we still got our food quicker than I thought we would. I got the BLT and it had a lot of bacon. The sandwich was so big it kept falling apart when I’d take a bite. Can’t tell you what hubby got because I was so fixated on my sandwich, lol, but I know he liked it!

Nice little place. a bunch of us former Sawyer people had a reunion on the old base stopped here for dinner and were happy we did. excellent chilli! Had a really good hot dog with chips and worthy Cole slaw. We are going back today and looking forward to ice cream after. I drove out from Maine. love the UP!!

Daisy Jo's Diner & Ice Cream Parlour is an adorable little shop in the quaint town of Gwinn. It is a small diner with a great menu selection, decent prices, and friendly service. The staff is super friendly and make you feel like part of the family, whether it is a first visit or 100th. The food is good, the prices are good, and the service is excellent. The ice cream is delicious, and the ice cream parlor offers a variety of cold treats for a hot day. For lunch, the BLT has a lot of bacon and is so big it keeps falling apart. The chilli is excellent, and there is a really good hot dog with chips and worthy Cole slaw. For breakfast, there is a good selection of all the usual breakfast fare at fair prices, with eggs prepared as you like. The coffee is fresh, hot and keeps coming. Even at the end of a long day, the gals are Rockstars with smiles on their faces. Next time in the area, people will be back.
