“After about six months of buying Kalindi’s cakes in Grosse Pointe and paying 30% more, I discovered the bakery itself right on the way to Michigan Cancer Center at 10 & Kelly. The carrot and casatta cakes are the BEST we’ve ever tasted, but we’ve never had a bad selection. Don’t miss the zucchini bread or the German chocolate cake either. Don (owner) runs the register and he’s just as helpful and pleasant as he can be!The only drawback - and it’s significant - is the heavy smell of cigarette smoke that inhabits the store. The last time I was there, my wife could SMELL it on my clothes when I got home! Folks with allergies - BE AWARE.“

“The food is amazing. You get a lot for your buck. I ordered the chicken schwarma bowl with steak, and it was ? so yummy. I've been back 2 times since then to get lunch. The bowl is so big it's 2 meals in one!! Definitely a must try!!!! They also have a variety of other items on the menu.“

“If you never been to a good bakery before try going to tringali's the best bread . There's a lot of restaurants and sub places that buy tringali's bread. And use it for their own bread and resell it. So next time you order a sub from your favorite places look at the bread it's the same as tringali's. And the best cannolis ever that's why they've been in business for over 50 years. You'll be back if you go there just saying give it a try you will be back.“
