We just saw MIKE and really enjoyed the show. It is an intimate venue with friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere, nice sound system, and overall good vibes. We parked nearby at a free lot and noticed plenty of other parking nearby.

Very nice and clean place. My only complaint is that the “men” and “women” signs on the bathroom are not very clear. I had three separate men walk into the women’s restroom on the same night, but different occasions. Once they saw me, they immediately left as if they did not realize it was the women’s restroom. Shocking that it happened so many times when there was only around 30 people max at the venue that night.

Very small venue. I think it only holds maybe 300 people. I would definitely go there again.Parking: We had no problem finding parking but I saw some reviews that people said it was hard to find parking.

Fun, small (recommend bringing earplugs) and very affordable venue for live music.Parking: Generally should not have any trouble finding a spot to park within two blocks of the venue.

If you're into the extreme music scene you already know about The Sanctuary. For those looking for a cool spot to catch a club-size concert in the Detroit area, this is an excellent venue. They've done a fantastic job updating the whole facility inside and out. Great bar staff and they offer Liquid Death (non-alcoloic beverage) which is a big plus for me personally.The Sanctuary books tons of killer bands, so keep a close eye on their event calendar.Parking in Hamtramck is a nightmare everywhere, so just plan on that being a headache, but that's not on the venue. That's just part of venturing into that side of town.
