Situated on the twelfth floor of the Island Resort & Casino, Horizons is easily one of the finest restaurants in the Upper Peninsula. If you find yourself passing through and desire fine dining, Horizons is an easy choice.
Came to the resort for my wife and I's one year anniversary and had a fantastic time. The food was delicious and the service was great! I do not understand the negative reviews and I am assuming the restaurant had a rough start since it was moved. We ate here late on a Saturday night and got sat immediately. The restaurant is clean, nice looking, and has a great view with lots of windows. Our waitress was great and the service time was average. The prices were on the higher end which can be typical for steakhouses. We got the crab rangoon dip and lobster bisque which had large chunks of lobster and both were very good. One of us got the ribs with mac and cheese which was good!
