They base their hiring off of rumors and people's opinions without giving anyone a chance. The food is disgusting and the service is horrible. We, Hartford, did not want this here. Especially since Burger King is better, though not by much.

The drive thru experience is maddening. I rarely get an order from here that’s correct. Bacon, egg and cheese biscuits manifest into sausage McGriddles. 10 piece nuggets don’t come with sauce. A plain cheeseburger transforms into a filet o fish.
If you go in and ask for sauce? You get a look that can kill because they don’t want to follow company policy.
Don’t even get me started on waiting for your order at window 2. They will have you pull forward and wait for your food most of the time, even if there’s no person behind you. Meanwhile, cars will come and go with their orders within seconds. I’ve been both the person who’s had to wait and the person who’s received their food in a flash while another poor soul waits in anguish.
Something changed at this location around March 2025. It’s just not worth it anymore. I’ve written reviews to corporate with no response. Typical for today’s society.

I stopped by Hartford McDonald’s this morning to get my breakfast, normally I backtrack to coloma, McDonald’s, but I was running late so decided to stop in Hartford. Ordered my breakfast my beverages get to the window to pay for it. All I have was a $50 bill and she said nope sorry I do not have money to change it. I said are you serious? This is all I have. She said yes I’m serious. I said so I can’t get my breakfast She said no. My meal was almost 10$ you don’t have 40$ in change ? So no Breakfast for me this morning.
Best Mcdonald's meal I've had in a long time. Double quarter pounder meal and Strawberry creme pies. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. Even the presentation of the food looked like they were doing a commercial. Great job.

McDeals make Mickey D's a reasonable and inexpensive lunch. The three of us ate for $12 with drinks. Sometimes with rewards off the app, we stay under $10. Mc D's has become our go-to lunch option. Oh, and BTW, you can easily eat KETO here.

Honestly with how many messed up orders I've gotten from this mcdonalds it's only right that I pull up Christmas Eve to a shut down store even though no mention of being closed on Google and their app says specifically they are serving dinner until 12am. Saw 4 employees hiding in the back refusing to even tell people who were pulling up that the kitchen was closed. They seemed perfectly content to stand around not even cleaning up to go home, hope they actually were meant to be closed though it wouldn't surprise me at all if it was just laziness, have waited for half an hour for half a bag of food before.
