Used to go here all the time since b4 covid...then they brought back community seating for the big dinners and now won't go back. Don't need to spend all that money to sit and stare at people I don't know at my table. Food is always good. Quit trying to maximize profit and just use tables like u did b4. Thanx for your

Don't let the reviews fool you because the rating is dependent on the pop up that's in place. Last night, I went for the New Orleans themed dinner and it was delicious! The chef was courteous as she walked the floor and the staff was great. The only challenge was the chef was running a bit behind so our 830 meal was served around 9:15 and I'm still not sure if I understand the gratuity since the place charges 18% facility when booked that I thought was gratuity but turns out it wasn't.

Visited for the Hong Kong Tea Bar. I would say the food is about a 7.25/10. We had the saladff, sliders, Hong Kong noodles, pork shi and dessert Rangoons.Overall, I would say that the food wasn’t very balanced with flavor. The salad needed a sweet element to make it feel complete. The Hong Kong noodles were salty and needed some citrus to balance them out. The sliders were my favorite thing we ate. The buns were soft and fluffy and toppings complimented the meat appropriately. The pork was also overly salty and lacked flavor. The $6 rice was crunchy on the top and not very “steamy” which is wild. The Rangoons were solid and had a nice blueberry compote.

Absolutely love frame events. We are hoping Star Wars makes a return. We have attended the Game Of Thrones dinner as well (did not realize it was not costumed so that was a surprise lol) The guest chefs are absolutely amazing. The only thing I would hope for is a closer to Ann Arbor event, we love coming out but the drive can be tricky. The food and drink pairings are always amazing and the staff is very kind.

We attended the vegan dinner by Chef Michelle Rodriguez a few months ago. Words cannot describe how delicious everything was. There was a mixologist that created a drink pairing for each course. The menu was filling and the flavors were well balanced:1 - Roasted Red Pepper and Tomato soup w/ coconut cream2 - Hearts of Palm Ceviche3 - Grilled Carrots with Lemon Verbena Crema4 - Teff PorridgeFried Chickpeas, Broccoli, Eggplant, Pomegranate Vinaigrette5 - Chocolate Pot de CrèmeStrawberry Hibiscus Jam, Fresh Berries, Mint, Pistachio & Smoked Sea SaltThis was a great date night idea. We'll definitely come back for a future event. Two thumbs up!

My visit to Frame for a tasting menu dinner left me with mixed feelings. While the food, courtesy of the guest chef, was a true delight for the palate, the rest of the experience fell far short of expectations. The servers seemed to view our simple request to sit together as a major inconvenience, even though an entirely vacant 10-top table was available and unused. Their attitude conveyed a sense of entitlement rather than hospitality. I understand that our party did not indicate this in the comments when we booked, but a harmless ask before seating began turned into a 4-time reminder from different staff members that we’ve caused a severe disruption with a simple request that they very quickly obliged. If it was so disruptive we would have rather been told no than taunted with a back handed favor. The added drink pairing unfortunately fell flat and the explanations for each pairing lacked depth, leaving the patrons largely in the dark about the rationale of the odd mix of drinks. One such cocktail was a martini that tasted like blended frozen strawberries, a drink so sweet and basic it almost distracted me from the fact that it has no reason to be paired with the dessert it was served with. The room itself was nice with an open kitchen concept but the volume of the music blaring in the background was akin to being at a nightclub rather than a fine dining establishment. Attempting to engage in a conversation became a futile endeavor as we struggled to hear each other over the deafening noise. Asking the staff to lower the volume only resulted in a shockingly confrontational response, as if we had committed a grave offense by desiring a more comfortable auditory environment. To add insult to injury, Frame employs a questionable financial tactic by imposing an 18% surcharge on all bills directed to the restaurant itself. This approach raises eyebrows when coupled with the expectation of a separate gratuity. The convoluted nature of this arrangement suggests a certain level of greed on the part of the owners and only serves to undermine the overall integrity of the establishment. It's genuinely disheartening when a restaurant that boasts exceptional culinary offerings fails to deliver a holistic experience. The management's apparent disregard for basic customer comfort and the staff's reluctant and defensive behavior overshadowed the exceptional cuisine. While I applaud the culinary artistry of the guest chef, I cannot ignore the glaring shortcomings that tainted what could have been a truly memorable dining experience.

Ridiculously overpriced! $400 for dinner for two (food and drink totaled $291 before taxes and facility charge) and only 2 courses contained meat (actually seafood...diced tuna and 2 fried oysters). 18% facility charge on top of food and drink. Facility charge does not include tip. Do not recommend and will never return.

Walked in without a reservation and was promptly seated. Our server was very attentive and explained how a new chef comes in every month and the menu is always changing.Appetizer and drinks came out very quickly. I ordered the molé short ribs and it was fantastic. Our server went over everything on our plates. Food was flavorful and filling, and I’ll definitely keep Frame in mind when I’m back in the Hazel Park area.

Title: sold a lie or not what I expected.. IDk!Went to one of those food experiences, hated it!! The portions were small, food was blend, and we had to share every food item with our party except the soup(shocker!) because they only gave us one appetizer( very small) with crackers that were broken all up!! We had to sit in this cramped small room behind the bathrooms and tables were touching, we were suuuuper close to strangers, I couldn't even bend my arm to pick up my silverware without bumping the poor lady ( nice lady) next to me. We also had to share water jugs with the strangers. Ticket said the experience started at 8:30pm, no food until 9pm. I received an email telling us about gratuity expectations, but did not mention they were going to pressure you into buying drinks for 30 mins before they sever the food. I'm not talking light pressure either!! Our waitress only came by to try and shovel more drinks on our bill! It was all a money grab, not an experience! $300 dollar for 2 ppl!!!!! What a rip off! Was not worth my hard earned money. I much rather went to Ruth Chris's for that price!! I'm so disappointed, I was looking forward to this all week! It was the biggest let down of my year thus far! I could have bought Beyoncé or T. Swift concert tickets with the $300. . So annoyed! I would love my money and time wasted back!!

Came to Frame on a whim for their farmBAR menu from Grand Rapids chef Evan Edwards. Food was great and creative. Lots of interesting combinations. The nature of Frame is rotating chefs and menu, so today's menu was unique and delicious. Service was strong and friendly with attention paid to food allergies and dietary restrictions.

Frame consistently knocks it out of the park, food-wise and service-wise!
