Love this place. Good for big groups, shopping local, and the barista remembered my order after one visit.

Best coffee shop around
Great cold brew!!! I felt great and so energized after drinking their cold brew coffee. The cafe has local art all over and I walked out with a brand new beautiful painting by Leslie Abraham! I love it so much. I’d definitely return! They have free unlimited wifi too and the food smelled good!

Simply amazing! My dirty chai was perfection and the breakfast sandwich was fresh, hot, and delicious! Definitely a spot worth checking out.
Enjoyed a delicious hazelnut latte. Very friendly barista and a clean, comfortable, and relaxed atmosphere.

First time going here, coffees great, chill atmosphere and the lady behind counter was excellent. Very nice and helpful, offered my kid several choices and showed us where games were. Awesome spot!

Coffee here is okay, not bad.
A trip to Java Hutt is more or less part of my daily routine since coming to hazel park. The drinks are great, and the staff are all wonderful. I go just as much for the pleasure of saying hello. It’s cool having a spot right in the neighborhood that feels that way.
Like someone else mentioned here, i give them a call and order ahead which is a neat convenience.
They clearly cultivate a number of regulars like me, and that’s no surprise at all. It’s also a top pick for me as a place to meet and catch up with a friend, & it’s also somewhere I’d feel good going to study for a bit or write something. Great atmosphere. Can’t forget the food is delicious too!
They’ve had little pop up shops come in to sell their art and wares, and they feature art from local artists adorning the walls as decoration and also for sale, too. Really cool
Needless to say, big fan lol. They’ve got a really good thing going🙂

Chill, friendly coffee spot with sandwiches and baked goods. I love supporting local independently owned & operated business!

What a great place! This local small business is the perfect stop for a drink, a snack, or a meal- or all three! The coffee is FANTASTIC, the food is homemade, the vibe is laid back, plus the location is easy to find and there's plenty of parking. My barista, Jenny, made me feel very welcome. I can't wait to go back!

This isn’t just a coffee shop, it’s the rare “hometown cafe” you’ve been looking for. It’s a locally-owned community space where neighbors say good morning to each other while grabbing a hot coffee and a tasty bagel. The atmosphere is great for work or studying, meeting friends, or just having a quick meal on the go. There’s a wide range of coffee options, baked goods, and sandwiches. They’re all good, trust me, we’ve tried them.
Pro tip for busy mornings: they take phone pickup orders. Parking is out front, in the back lot, or on the street- super easy. Why not stop by and say hello?

Reasonably Priced coffee and drinks nothing more expensive than you would get it Starbucks. Except it’s locally owned and the gal Ann who works there is very nice.
