Before leaving Detroit, come and try Detroit’s specialty square pizza. The business of this store is very good. It should be about 80% full around 5 o'clock on Sunday night, and the attached parking lot is almost full.The menu is simple, with pizza, salads, sandwiches, beef, some pasta, and more. Pizzas come in two sizes, large and small, and the flavors are also very classic. The simplest one is just cheese, and then tomato sauce, pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, green peppers, etc. are slowly added, and you can also customize your own taste. I guess it's because it's cooked to order, so you have to wait about 30 minutes for your pizza after ordering. But the deliciousness is worth the wait. The edges of the pizza are very crispy, and there is so much cheese inside that it will flow out after you cut it. Cheese lovers will be very satisfied. But also because there is a lot of cheese and tomato sauce, the overall dish is salty and easy to get cloying.

We heard about Loui's Pizza on Under The Radar. It was even better then we expected. The pizza, salad, service and getting to hang our chianti bottle added up to a place we will be back to eat.

Forget Buddy's, this is The Greatest Detroit Style pizza. Lots of ingredients, massive amounts of cheese...it makes your mouth water just seeing it. This is the ultimate pizza experience! GO!!

Luv coming to Loui's when we are in town. It was definitely popping tonite when we came for dinner. Service just so so food excellent as usual. We will have leftovers for days.

Delicious OG Detroit pizza!! Thick crust, tons of cheese, sauce on top and of course the mandatory burnt corners! Service was super friendly but not very attentive. Be sure to get a Chianti basket bottle so you can add to the decor!

My friend and I were there today. It's been awhile and was disappointed. Steak hoagie wasn't hot and very dry. My friends ravioli were luke warm. Not what I remembered at all. Waitress never came to ask us how everything was and it Wasnt even crowded. I was craving the steak hoagie. Again very disappointing.
It took us about 5 months to try this place because everytime we went we couldn't find parking. But we wanted to see if it was better than Michigan and Trumbull. Finally just ordered take out, but it was burnt :(. Doesn't really seem worth the hype if you've been looking to try like we have.

We have been coming here for I do not know how long. Took a couple of first timers there for lunch and then they could not stop raving about it. Got the antipasto salad, so good. Couple of pizzas, cooked perfect and the right amount of sauce not like the sauce stingy competition. And the cheese is endless, do not go there if you are lactose intolerant, you may be in trouble. Go check this place out.

Food was delicious! Best Italian salad dressing ever and the pizza is ??. Waiter could have been a little nicer and checked up on us more, but it was the day of the Eclipse and it was really busy.
