“Our waitress was extremely friendly and was super patient. The place is absolutely gorgeous and the food is amazing!!! And it's all great prices. I got the beef and dumpling soup with a side of the sweet potato fries and it was absolutely delicious! We will definitely be coming back. 10/10 love this place! “Start with ordering a margarita flight while you study the impressive menu. When they come back with chips and salsa to take your order, take my word for it and get the street tacos. You will have a heckuva delicious supper. We come here fairly often. My current favorites in order are 1.Street Tacos, 2.Carnitas, 3. Fajitas Charras and 4. Special Combo. Don Felipe Chesaning checks all the boxes...Tasty food, delicious drinks, the servers are excellent, attentive and fast. The restaurant is clean and conveniently located. Mmm street tacos and a margarita flight are so dang good. I should mention that my son usually gets the Carnitas which I can vouch for, they are excellent. My wife usually gets the Burrito California and she always raves about it. One more thing worth mentioning is the servers are great. They wont let you run out of beverages and check on you regularly. “We have are here a few times for dinner and never had a meal that we did not enjoy. For lunch a time or two they could not accommodate a larger crowd on short notice. The food is always delicious and the staff are generally attentive. The only downside is sometimes the proportions are small. Both of us got fries instead of chips with our burgers . There was $1.99 uncharge and both of us had between 10-12 fries . The fries were seasoned good, but felt there should be more for the amount of up charge . Needless to say we will be back.”

“I stopped by here on two different days for a business lunch after receiving local recommendations and looking at the Google reviews.I enjoyed their limited offering of a wet burrito and a few days later the showboat club on Texan toast.Flattop and booth seating with plastic table clothes and paper napkins. Two separate dining areas but basic with no frills. They appear to have a bar for limited cocktails but I definitely saw a person get a Busch light with their lunch. Competitive prices. Good to very good service depending on the waitress. No wifi. The meals weren’t fantastic but were solid where I would return again.”

“We saw them on tiktok! Lived in O for 7 years now and hadn't gotten around to trying Val's until the video convinced us it would be worth our while. We have been missing out completely!! This is by far the best pizza in town. Perfect pizza starts with a solid foundation: the dough. Val's Pizza knows exactly what they're doing. Their pizza crust is exceptional: soft, chewy, flavorful and crispy on the outside. Best sauce, too, not acidic or sour, perfectly complements the dough. You can tell they care about their family business and what they produce, bc their customer service is stellar. They're very helpful and patient, taking time answering any questions, making sure you get what you want. And you can tell they only use quality ingredients bc we had a few leftovers that sat in the fridge for two days that reheated perfectly, the crust was still wonderful. Val's is definitely our family's go-to pizza place from now on.”

“We enjoyed our lunch, Tasha was our bartender/server. She was a delight with such a positive personality. We had a burger and quesadilla along with some homemade chili. Everything was delicious!Note: the chili came out after the food and I forgot to take a picture. It was homemade and served in a cup or bowl. I have just recently discovered this godsend of an ice cream parlor, and all I can say is if you are in need of a pick-me-up, let this place be my recommendation for you. The staff is always so kind, very cheery, and knows their locals well. The menu has so many great options, even options for our furry friends. The prices are extremely reasonable, especially compared to other ice cream parlors you may find in the area. This location has seating outside, as well as a drive thru. If you find yourself driving through chesaning, I highly recommend you stop by and get a treat along the way. My ice cream is always too photo worthy not to post. “Always held thus place in high regard and thought it might be better than the other local diners but every Tues morning without a doubt service and atmosphere goes out the door. At least they don't mess my food up. Last 3 tues I've gone to greg and lous the service sucked eggs. I go out to keep my coffee full and my stomach at bay. Not trying to look around to order or try to find my own togo boxes. Plz just do better. I always leave there worse than when I came in. Angry I even came in.”

“I had been hoping for one of these open around here. The Big Kahuna is amazing. It's a regular Philly but with mushrooms and jalapeños added. It's so good here. It costs around $17 for the giant size, but I can get two full subs out of it, so it's worth it to pay for that one. I eat a lot but even for me they are huge. They are always so juicy but never with soggy bread. Don't get me wrong, I love Big John's and mancinos for steak sandwiches and even Subway, but this might be a small step ahead...Parking: There's only a couple of parking spaces. There's a Verizon attached to this store, and they have a few spots also on the side of the building. Or you could always park next door at little caesars. It's easier to get back out to hwy 21 that way anyhow.”

“100% our go to. We always do take out but today ate in. Ya'll I'm still in a food coma. My teenager and I ordered veggies low mean, beef and broccoli, sesame chicken, and crab ragoons. Omg the ragoons were stuffed ? with legit ?. The portions were out of this world. We're gonna be eating for a week off left overs. My child attends Purdue university and when I come down to layette, Indiana they request Chinese. We maybe get a full meal for both for what we spent here. And I can't properly say what happened in my mouth at this hole in the wall middle of no where. And are yall real. Pop/soda is free for dine in. And the water (because we are both water drinkers) was real. Not flint city yuck. Seriously though service was awesome. Food is 20 out of 10. You'd never expect this level of flavor and fresh from some tiny spot in the middle of no where. 20 out of 10. Absolute ? best”
