Food was tasty, but average. Service was good. It was very noisy and not the cleanest.

We didn’t get to go in to eat because they want you to pay to get in the park. Understandable, but they didn’t put that fact on the Internet, so we went there, but had to go someplace else.
Dutch reuben and Erwtensoep are delicious. We were here for a snack- lunch. Really cozy place with water fountain outside the pub. Nice patio, clean and kind stuff. Thank you!
I mean it's not ever gonna earn a Michelin star or anything, but for theme park cafeteria food I was really impressed. Great, unique selection of food. Everything tasted great.
Microwaved food. Takes forever to get your order ready.
Good option to taste some interesting Dutch food. Not food would crave but nice to try once!

The croquettes are the bomb! Only place you can get them in Holland!
We went here for lunch and shops after visiting the Windmill Island Gardens. We both ordered the Saucijzebroodjes at the Hungry Dutchman Cafe. My husband is very picky on food. He wasn’t a big fan of the meal. But I like the pea soup with smoked sausages. The pig in blankets was kind of greasy for me. I also ordered a cup of cafe au lait to go with the apple pie; both were very good.
The staff was not very friendly. They were talking about us right after we ordered, just because we didn't want to order extra stuff and get what they wanted us to get. Also the prices were ridiculous! $6 for 4 tiny chicken strips that literally equaled that of maybe 2 chicken strips ANYWHERE else I've ever ate at. It looked like they took 2 regular sized chicken strips and cut them in half and then charging that was was insane. I wouldn't recommend.
The kroketjes and broodjes were very good; the pea soup was excellent. If it's a nice day, sit out on the terrace overlooking the water.
My husband is from The Netherlands, and we have both had authentic Dutch food. Obviously this place has to cater to American taste, but we ordered off the Dutch specialties menu. Kroketten were delicious, but a little heavy on the curry. Frikandel was tasty but nothing like authentic. The currant bun with Edam cheese was exactly as expected. The biggest disappointment was the lack of real Dutch fries. They were plain American fries (and good ones) but it’s not the same. They sell frite sauce in the store but don’t offer it at the restaurant. Overall, the food was edible but we wouldn’t go back.
